WTF its been like an almost total of a year since the last post due to the massive amount of lazy-ness and we got wayyyyyy to distracted with skool work and shitttt.

THE TREND OF HIPHOP & ROBOTIC DANCE

IF SHUFFLE DANCE cant get enough of you , im here to reveal the other trend of dance that ALSO plagued society in KL. So if you watch the cable television Astro and you stumble across chinese tv programme called battleground you can see bunch of ''modernised hip '' college students or TARCIANS or Dota player compete into a ''dance battle '' and then commented by panel judges as if they are commenting in youtube. in english.

So why am i talkin about these trend of dance? if not techno then is either hiphop or R&B. EXACTLY. AS you can see, the other trend of dance that are quite popular among hostel students is the chris brown-esque HIPHOP / R&B dance as what you all seen in Astro right??? FORGET about Boyzone , backstreetboys or N'SYNC because youngsters are to cool for those old trends where their NEW FRESH HIP DANCE is inspired by Korean and other ZIGZAG overexaggerated hands kung fu movements fused with robotic dance such as RAIN numsayin.....or maybe some taiwanese boyband music video that most emphasize on their super hang swingging synchronize dance and their uniform hairstyles. ( most likely suitable for digicam advertisements kind of look )

Even those True followers of hiphop breakdancers having a frustration that those youngsters '' HIP FRESH DANCE'' are much cooler than those old skool breakdance just because youngsters can afford to buy DC caps and babymilo brands hoodies. What those young punks know about Dance? you need to have a group? you need to look HIP or FRESH? if you ask them , they dont even know whats the difference between hiphop and R&B.

The only ''hiphop'' and '' R&B'' they know is either those rappers you see in MTV nowadays , AKON , kanye West , Will.i.am , T-pain , Korean boyband wannabe rappers , japanese wannabe rappers , and some song they hear while CLUBBING in Zouk , maison , Bison , Ryu , ZooNegare , Bar-celona , Juventus and watever random songs you hear while playin DOTA in Cybercafes.

When you ask about TuPac , Ice-T , Dr.Dre........... those youngsters HAVE NO IDEA or even if they know , they will run because they scared of gangstas or its just not a suitable song for their music playlist embedded in their Friendster page . Back to the dance part , those dance are simply not original and over exaggerated with too much ROBOT DANCE . Just as the shuffle dance where their focused on legs , then this dance is focused more on how robot is your hands............like wow ( sarcasm )

IF you look closer , those robot dance has not even a significant to any mere hiphop or any old skool dance.....its just causes confusion on the audience ..... like what is the cool thing to dance ROBOTIC ALL THE TIME WHERE ITS NOT EVEN A ROBOT DANCE AT ALL

SHUFFLE : THE ORIGINS

Ok this is based on my real life experience of whats going on around teens these days. Ever wondering in KL and stumbled across a bunch of people with weird clothing and watever that looks EMO but they're not EMO nor Metalheadz? then you're not alone. And not to mention seeing people from far with super weird movements resembles a spritual trance ritual and some sort of stuff. Some say it's a joke , some say it's a dance but we couldnt even decide neither.........


THIS SO CALLED DANCE IS...................''SHUFFLE '' ( ppl wtf-ing )

say whatt??? numsayin... even the word itself gives alot of meaning behind this abstract word but if you tell this to some ''scene kids'' or lala in KL they will tell you the meaning while performing some shuffle dances at the same time without humiliation. but the i am sure most of us have no clue on what this is all about and what the heck is actually going on with the cultural scene nowadays rite? so i am here to tell what the heck is penge-shuffle-an is all about.


SHUFFLE ( pronounced as '' Sa-fer '' ) is an act of movements mostly focuses on the legs and Strictly on legs and foot like what the heck those scene kids must been already shouting at you by now lol . So this shuffle doesnt really considered as a DANCE but more into an Movements such as Yoga , tai Chi or Kung Fu that stimulates blood circulations by stomping in the ground as hard as you can disregarding how embarrasing you may look especially in public places such as LRT stations , schools , and the infamous shuffle Pit at bukit bintang infront of maybank. SHUFFLE movements inorder to master these movements u will need precise timing and accuracy on stomping the ground just as how you played DANCE DANCE REVOLUTION but in this case you will need to use your imagination because it is a friggin ground tarmac.

SHUFFLE dance is pioneered by a bunch of lalas and ahbengs back in the 90's where techno is all the fuss in discos and clubs ( lets just say they dont know how to breakdance just as the cool kids does )............. so they developed an EASY form of dance by using techno replacing hiphop because ahbeng's dont like hiphop back in the 90's so they wanted to be cool and hip. Ahbengs and lalas then started to do some movements with ONLY by using their legs because it's EASY to dance with only by using a pair of legs than with hand movements. Another discovery by them is the method of dancing.......so they dance by STOMPING THEIR LEGS ACCORDING TO THE TECHNO BEAT u know the dum dum dum dum dum 4/4 timing beat numsayin.

So when they started to dance according techno beat...BOOMM EUREKA!!! you got yourself a techno-dance. So suddenly both ahbeng's and lalas started to DANCE BATTLE ALA breakdance battle but this is by on how well you stomping the ground. SO... inorder to create more randomness of this stomping ...AND for the sake of adding more room for '' creativity '' ... they have to stomp the ground with varieties of styles and BOOOMM EUREKA the Second time and thats how they got the dance named SHUFFLE after randomness.


Funny thing is this dance are obselete during the late 90's since hiphop and linkin park are much more popular with the teens and so this SHUFFLE is obselete til then and instead is popular in Melbourne. that is why you can see those style names with melbourne and subway in it.
Not til recently which i got no idea how , SHUFFLE is back in action among scene kids that are trying to get attention from the public and with the rise of clubs in KL such as Zouk , Maison , Bison , Ryu , Zoo Negara , Cocobananaleaf , durian club and whatever it called. Not Only Ahbengs or lala , infact now SHUFFLE is popular among Mat rempits and even Ah Lians and budak sekolah menengah.

You can see those budak sekolah shuffle everwhere because it is cool and stuff especially in LRT stations. But Most of them are more like they been having seizures ( sawan ) and been attacked by thousand of ants and they have to stomp it hard.

infact back in the ancient times , people have been SHUFFLING to keep themselves away from termites and some red ants and to see how much ants you can stomp in a minute. This explains why most of Pest Exterminators consists of Teens and ahbengs that SHUFFLES , Ironically.


Another history is sayin that back in the tribal era , people have to stomp the ground to prove their manhood by stomping countless deadly ants........ so STOMPING GROUND has a long history.

You cant SHUFFLE without Fashion numsayin because it is SO NAUT KOOL mann with a manglish slang in it by lalas . so here's a few things you need inorder to shuffle :

1) Your must be dyed Golden or bright yellow

2) You need a 3-quarter pants

3) Your clan/gang/group of shufflers t-shirt ( anything with the word HARDSTYLE in it with is A MUST )

4 ) A CAP ( inorder for you to throw it and to spinning around before wearing it for STYLE POINTS by panel judges of Persatuan Hardstyle Shuffle )

5) glow in dark sticks

6) light reflective GIANT TROUSERS

7) YOU MUST BE A DOTA PLAYER

8) Sandals , slippars , Converse and Nike flat shoes ( anything that worn off on the sole )

I will explain why you need a big trousers , or a Cap on the LAMPIRAN SECTION BELOW



dont forget bout guilds , clan or watever because you will need a group for SHUFFLE competition...... so here's a tips for naming your team :

1) must included the words like ''HARD'' , ''STYLE '' , and ''REPUBLIC ''

2 ) visit Dudesdayout blog


that is why you can see shufflers have their team/clan names on their JACKETS such as...........Kampung Hardstyle , Republic of hardstyle , hardcorestyle republic , Heavystyle , Hard-republic , the republic of hardcore dancers , hardcorers-republic , superstyle , SMKK Damansara republic , SMK Sri kembangan Hardcore stylerzz , FreeStylerz , EndlessBeatzz , Samurai Team Stylez , Counterstylez republic , APEKstyle Clan , Hardclan , Hardcorezz United , United of hardcorerz , Crusaders of hardstyle , ................. You get what i mean
